installation

requirements on linux

• gnustep-make >= 1.8.0 (http://www.gnustep.org)
• gnustep-base >= 1.8.0 (http://www.gnustep.org)
• libsndfile >= 1.0.10 (http://www.zip.com.au/~erikd/libsndfile/)
• elk language kit or fooelk (http://sam.zoy.org/projects/elk/)
  you will need elk > 3.99.6 (svn checkout)
  it's recommended to use the fooelk distribution from the foo sourceforge project site instead, which contains the P_Pow and readrationals patches and the readline extension

requirements on mac os x

!!! note that mac os x support is in cvs only at the moment !!!

• apple developer tools (tested on 10.3 so far)
